PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain warmth, softness, and a three-dimensional effect of a grain of natural wood by an artificial autumnal material part being substantially the similar figure with an autumnal material part having a density difference with the autumnal material part in the vicinity of the autumnal material part in a grain pattern of a spring material part and autumnal material part. SOLUTION: The grain pattern printed matter 1 is made of grain patterns in which an artificial autumnal material pattern part 4 being substantially similar to an autumnal material part 2 having density difference with the autumnal material part 2 in the proximity with the autumnal material part 2 is provided in grain patterns of a birch material having an autumnal material part 2 and spring material part 3. The grain pattern printed matter 1 is obtained by printing through registration on the same plane by the use of a plurality of color plates manufactured by making color separation with the same color respectively in reference of grain patterns formed by cutting natural wood at an arbitrary cut surface taking natural wood as an original, and grain patterns obtained by cutting in parallel with the cut surface at the arbitrary point of an axis being vertical to the cut surface. Accordingly, the artificial autumnal material part 4 leads to parts equal to two eyes as seen in a needle-leaf tree, so that a grain pattern printed matter 1 is obtained which has grain and texture having no sense of incompatibility as grains of natural wood.
