A selector 16A reads phase error data, corresponding to the received symbol stream from a phase error table in response to the modulation system and the phase rotating angle identified by a transmission configuration identification circuit 9, outputs the data to a D/A converter 17, where the phase of a reference carrier for orthogonal detection and a phase of a received signal point is kept constant, with respect to a transmission signal point.
