PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a spacer from fixing in a state of deforming at a bend programmed section of a hollow seal part. SOLUTION: In an inserting method for a generally cylindrical spacer 8 arranged at a bend programmed section of a hollow seal part having a seal function by elastically deforming, a generally cylindrical jig 10 having an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the spacer 8 is inserted in the spacer 8. The spacer 8 is sucked on an outer peripheral surface of the spacer inserting jig 10, and the spacer 8 is inserted in the hollow seal part with shrinking in diameter. Therefore, the spacer 8 can be fixed to the bend programmed section in an initial state.
