PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber drum, its cylindrical main body and a method of manufacturing the cylindrical main body in which not only a strength of a cylindrical opening part of the cylindrical main body is high, but also no trouble occurs for loading or unloading of stored content and an operation for separating another component part from a paper component part is not required. SOLUTION: A cylindrical main body 1 of a fiber drum is made such that an opening edge of one end opening 3 and an opening edge of the other end opening 4 are curved in an outward winding at one end opening 3 and the other end opening 4 of a cylindrical barrel 2 formed into a cylindrical shape by paper material so as to form ring-like portion 5, 6. In addition, the fiber drum is comprised of the cylindrical main body 1, a lid 11 made of paper removably applied to cover the ring-like portion 5 of the cylindrical main body 1 so as to seal with the lid the one end opening 3 of the cylindrical barrel 2, and a bottom member 12 made of paper fixed to the ring-like portion 6 of the cylindrical main body 1 and sealing the other end opening 4 of the cylindrical barrel 2.
