PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking device having a similar appearance and movement to a real insect. SOLUTION: A walking device 1 comprises a body 2, and legs 31-36 provided at least in pairs on the left and the right of the body 2. In the body 2, a power source 6 and gears 51-56 rotated by the power source 6 are arranged. The rear portions of the legs 31-36 are placed deeply in the body 2, are attached to the rotational center of the gears 51-56, and are rotated around their axes. The legs 31-36 are bendable, and formed so as to retain bent states.
