PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image exhibiting a different appearance from an ordinary color image, and allow a viewer to have an interest therein by forming an image by transparent ink on the color image after forming a color image on recording paper. SOLUTION: The recorded matter 1 includes flat recording paper 2 such as ordinary paper or OHP paper, and a recording layer 3 of an arbitrary color image such as, i.e., a personal image is formed by laminating heat-melt or heat sublimation ink of cyan, magenta and yellow on the recording paper 2. In this case, a transparent image recording layer 4 is further formed along the outline of, e.g. a lower layer color image by the use of an overcoat ink as transparent ink. Namely, when recording, a first line of the recording paper 2 with a color image recorded is returned between a thermal head and a platen, and thereafter an overcoat ink ribbon is permitted to be in press contact with a first line of the recording paper so as to carry out transparent image recording. |
