PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide forceps for an endoscope capable of securing the pivotally attaching strength of a link member by avoid the projection of link members from a tip cover to the utmost though the diameter of an insertion part is small. SOLUTION: In forceps for an endoscope 1 obtained by providing a distal end cover 14 at the tip of an insertion portion 2 to be inserted into a body, pivotally attaching a pair of openable/closable cups 21 to the cover 14 and connecting each cup 21 to a wire connecting member 19 through the link members 25, a pair of the link members 25 face each other at a position inside of the one pair of cups 21 and the members 25 are compactly arranged in the cover 14 so that the center axis extension line of an operation wire 7 may pass through a place between the pair of the members 25 facing each other. |
