<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calm, small-sized and lightweight oxygen concentrator by using a scroll type oil-free air compressor capable of providing a pressure in a specified range and having a capacity in a specified range as an air compressor in a device for supplying air from the air compressor to an adsorbing cylinder. SOLUTION: In a pressure fluctuation adsorptive oxygen concentrator having two adsorbing cylinders 5, 6 filled with an adsorbent selectively adsorbing nitrogen, an air compressor 1 for supplying air to the adsorbing cylinders 5, 6, and a product tank 7 for storing the resulting concentrated oxygen, a scroll type oil-free air compressor capable of providing a pressure in the range of 70-150 kPa and having a capacity in the range of 15 L/min-100 L/min at that time is used as the air compressor. In this air compressor, since each process of suction, compression and discharge continuously progresses by a movable part scroll and a fixed part scroll rotating in contact to each other, the fluctuation of pulsation or compression torque is minimized, so that the noise can be reduced.</p> |
