SCALABLE DATA COLLECTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scalable data collecting device(SDAS) which can be used for both of a single slice and multi-slice imaging devices. SOLUTION: SDAS 42 is used for a computer-type laminagraph to convert a low level current signal from an x-ray detector 16 to a digital value for reconstituting, displaying and recording a picture. In addition, an aliasing preventing filter to each cell is arranged before analog-digital conversion. An analog current signal from a detector 16 is supplied for the input channel of the SDAS 42 through a shielding ribbon or a flexible cable. The cable is connected with SDAS 42 by an SDAS back plane. An SDAS converter card or board is plug in to the SDAS back plane again.
