PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to test a shape and a measurement of metallic and nonmetallic three-dimension objects without using a dial gauge. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for testing a shape and a measurement of a three-dimension object comprises a chuck unit(202) which bites a target. A gripper(204) adjusts a pressure under which the target is bitten by the chuck unit(202). A rotary motor(206) rotates the chuck unit(202), and a camera shift shaft(208) is installed so that a CCD camera is shifted on a straight line. A light source(212) generates a ray of light so that the CCD camera picks up the target(200). A light source shift shaft(214) is located in opposition to the camera shift shaft(208) with the target interposed therebetween, and the light source(212) is shifted along the shift shaft(214) on a straight line. A control part(220) controls a camera position control motor(216) and a light source position control motor(218) at the same time and identically so that a position of the camera(210) and a position of the light source(212) are shifted into the same position at the same time with the target interposed therebetween.
