METHOD FOR GENERATING AND RECORDING VISUAL INFORMATION OF A RECORD DIGITAL DATA STREAM

PURPOSE: A method for generating and recording visual information of a record digital data stream is provided to generate and record visual information of a record digital data stream by use of a less data amount. CONSTITUTION: A method for generating and recording visual information of a record digitaldata stream comprises the steps of determining a weight(MTU_SHFT) of visual information corresponding to the maximum transport speed of a digital data stream recorded on a record medium, calculating a unit time(IAPTTIME_UNIT) of expressing the visual information to a mapping unit of the recorded digital data stream by use of the determined weight, determining a size of the visual information corresponding to the mapping unit to the recording digital data stream based on the calculated unit time(IAPTTIME_UNIT), and generating and recording a count value of the unit time in each mapping unit as the visual information corresponding to the mapping unit. The size of the visual information is determined so that the count value of the unit time is not overflown in one mapping stream at a minimum bit transport speed of the recorded digital data stream.
