PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording pressure gauge to minimize the effect of the temperature in piping so that a leakage test can be put into practice in a state where pressure fluctuation is stabilized. SOLUTION: The recording pressure gauge follows the control of a measurement control part 27 of a microcomputer 22 for measuring pressure in an automatic measurement start mode, uses a pressure fluctuation judging part 24 to judge the presence or the absence of fluctuation of the pressure in every prescribed sampling period measured by a timer 23, judges that the pressure is stable if pressure fluctuation is not present, and starts measuring pressure. Then, the pressure gauge presents an indication on a display 5 after measuring pressure for a prescribed measuring period. If generated pressure fluctuation is not stabilized in a prescribed continuation period, the pressure gauge will determine that an error is present, will stop measuring, and will warn by a warning means 26.
