The waterproof shoe has an inner tubular lining (20)of waterproof material set inside the upper casing (13) of the shoe upper and having a lower open end extending along the lower open end (15) of the upper casing. The stitched seams (19) between the upper, the inner lining and lower part have a seam seal (22) which contacts the inner surfaces of the inner lining and lower enclosed shell to prevent water passing through the seam into inside the lining. The stitched seam is water-permeable to the outside from a point between the inner lining and the upper casing. Independent claim describes manufacturing method by stitching upper to upper casing, preparing lower part with enclosed shell and producing inner lining tube stitched inside.
