PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp capable of easy maintenance. SOLUTION: This electrodeless discharge lamp device comprises an energy generating part 8 including a high frequency generator 1, an energy transmitting part 9 including a transmission antenna 6 connected with the high frequency generator 1, a receiving antenna 7 for receiving high frequency energy radiated from the transmission antenna 6, and a waveguide 2 of which one end is connected with the receiving antenna 7, and a light emitting part 10 including a cavity resonator 4 connected with an other end of the waveguide 2 by a high frequency coupler 3 and a lamp 5 arranged in the cavity resonator 4.
