PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and precisely conduct positioning and fixing operations of optical parts which make up an optical transmission module that is used to connect information processing terminals to an optical communication network. SOLUTION: Left and right positions of a rectangular prism 81, which is used to switch optical paths of an optical transmission module, are adjusted by a pair of adjustment horizontal screws 89d and 89e so as to adjust the distance between axes of an input light taking in section 3 and an output light transmitting section 7. Then, the top and the bottom positions of the optical axis and the tilt in the up and down direction are adjusted by using a horizontal eccentricity pin 38 of the section 3 and a pair of adjustment vertical screws 39a and 39b. The tilt in the left and right direction of the optical axis is adjusted by using a pair of adjustment horizontal screws 79a and 79b of an output light beams transmitting section 7 so as to match these optical axes. Then, the horizontal and vertical adjustment screws are fixed to the side of a base table of the optical transmission module by an adhesive.
