PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent defective paper-passing caused by a change in the shape of a nip part due to the thermal deterioration of an elastic member, as for a fixing device. SOLUTION: The fixing device is provided with 1st and 2nd rollers 14 and 15 which are constituted by separately arranging the elastic member 26 on the outer periphery of a metallic cylindrical body 25 and which come in press contact with each other. The roller hardness of the 1st roller 14 is set smaller than that of the 2nd roller 15, the cross-link density of the elastic member 26 of the 1st roller 14 is set lower than that of the elastic member 26 of the 2nd roller 15.
