PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic induction equipment having a excellent insulation to a surge voltage. SOLUTION: Electrostatic shield insulation layers respectively consist of an electric insulation layer formed on a press board and first and second conductive layers provided on the inner and outer surfaces of the electric insulation. First, coil pieces 4 on the side of the end of a line are encircled with one of the layers 6 and those coil pieces 4 are encircled with another layer 6 of the layers 6 along with another coil pieces. In such a way, the layers 6 are constituted in order into a nesting shape. By adjusting the electrostatic capacity of each layer 6, the potential distributions in the layer 6 at the time of an application of a surge voltage to an electrostatic induction equipment can be controlled.
