Vertically-opposed main molds (30, 40, 50, 60) include molding cavities and channels for injected molten resin. Cavities differ in capacity. Preferred features: Resin injection rate is adjusted to fill both cavities in approximately the same time. Channel construction assures this. Branched channels to the cavities include hot channel nozzles. Channels connect to cavities independently with hot channel nozzles. A further variant based on the foregoing principles is described; permitting two molding operations in succession.
