A drill hole (13) in a plastic panel (14) has a two-part strengthening bush (1) with a beaded bush (2) and a locking bush (3). The beaded bush (2) is inserted into the hole and the locking bush (3) is inserted into and locks in the beaded bush (2). Each part of the bush has a flange (5, 8) resting on the panel surface.
