PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood component elution apparatus for bathtubs, which can be easily installed in and removed from bathtubs in general houses, allows effective use of components of wood, and allows enjoying health-promoting bathing easily. SOLUTION: A plate-shaped element 3 having generally inverted L shaped side faces and covering generally the overall surface of the interior wall part 2 of at least one side of a bathtub 1 is removably mounted in the bathtub 1 and dipped in bathtub water 4. The plate-shaped element 3 is made of hinoki cypress and thereby its hinokitiol components are eluted and dissolved into the bathtub water 4 to make the bathtub water 4 aromatic, thus allowing health- promoting bathing to be enjoyed easily even in general houses.
