FIRE RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire retardant resin composition without using a halogen- based fire retardant. SOLUTION: The fire retardant resin composition contains a thermoplastic resin and a fire retardant, and the fire retardant is composed of a phosphorus- containing compound and an aromatic nylon. The fire retardant may be contained in an amount of 0.1-100 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the thermoplastic resin. The fire retardant may contain 1-100 pts.wt. of the phosphorus- containing compound based on 100 pts.wt. of the aromatic nylon.
