PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of silicone cured substance particles which is high in stability, even with only a small amount of surfactant, and a preparation process thereof. SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion of silicone cured substance particles comprises (A) silicone cured substance particles having an average particle size of from 0.1 to 500μm, (B) a nonionic surfactant and (C) water and contains, against 100 pts.wt. aqueous dispersion, (D) from 0.01 to 10 pts.wt. phenoxyethanol of the formula (wherein R is a hydrogen atom or methyl group; and n is an integer of from 1 to 10). In the preparation process of the above-mentioned aqueous dispersion, (A') a curable silicone composition is emulsified in an aqueous solution comprising (B) a nonionic surfactant, (C) water and (D) a phenoxyethanol of the formula (wherein R is hydrogen atom or methyl group; and n is an integer of from 1 to 10), and the composition is cured.
