PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably obtain a container of high quality formed of a paper base material by employing a belt feed system. SOLUTION: A container is formed from a packing material 22 mainly formed of a paper base material and this packing material is punched into a flat plate state (carton blank) to which bending fold line creases are applied. A fifth panel is one for a vertical line seal for bonding the paper base material when this paper base material is formed into a square cylindrical shape. The packing material 22 is held and fed at a speed synchronizing to a bending belt 31 by an upper press belt 32 and a lower guide belt and the paper end of the fifth panel is bent centering around the bending part 34 of a bending stand 35 by a bending belt. Thereafter, the fifth panel and a first panel are bonded under pressure so as to hold the bent part of the fifth panel to be processed into a square cylindrical shape. Next, the bottom part of the square cylinder-shaped packing material is sealed along respective folds to form a bottom part. The interior of the packing material between the shoulder part and bottom part of the packing material is packed with content and, thereafter, a top part is formed by folding to produce a container having a desired shape. |
