PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cleanliness of indoor space by enhancing a conversion efficiency of a ceiling embedded cassette heat exchange ventilation device for ventilating air while exchanging heat between exhaust from the inside of a room and air supply from the outside of the room. SOLUTION: An exhaust suction unit 17 is provided at the tip of an extension duct 13 that is connected to a duct connection port 14 of a casing 4 via a duct joint 16 and is arranged on a ceiling surface 5. Indoor air is sucked at a position away from the casing 4 and is unloaded outdoors. The suction unit 17 can be freely laid out and indoor air distribution can be improved reliably. Air being contaminated at some spots is sucked from an indoor smoking location or the like and is unloaded outdoors.
