PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the influence of armature-reaction magnetic flux completely by winding a conductor around a field pole so as to be orthogonal to a field coil wound around a stator, and inserting an insulator between the stator and the conductor. SOLUTION: A field coil 2 is wound around a stator 81 in a field core 1 so as to form a pair of field poles 1a on both ends of the field core 1. A groove 1b is formed in each field pole 1a of the field core 1 annularly across an inner periphery surface and an outer periphery surface in the axial direction of the field pole 1a and both ends in the axial direction of the field pole 1a. An electrical insulating layer serving as an insulator 9 is formed on the surface of the each groove 1b, and a non-isolated conductor 7 is wound on the electrical insulating layer so as to be orthogonal to the field coil 2 wound on the stator S1.
