PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of network printer which considers paper exchanges and can automatically distribute printers. SOLUTION: In this controller of network printer to which plural printers are connected through a network, whether or not paper exchanges for a printer are necessary is judged when the printer prints (step A10), and when it is decided that the paper exchanges are necessary, data transmission to the printer is stopped other than the case when only the printer can perform printing.
