PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized inexpensive telephone set where a schedule can easily registered and a schedule can easily be retrieved. SOLUTION: The telephone set is provided with a transmission reception section 2 that transmits or receives a signal, a transmission reception 11 that sends or receives voice data, a speech recognition section 15 that recognizes speech data, a storage section 8 and a control section 4. The control section 4 extracts a keyword such as date and time, location and contents from the result of recognition of consecutive speech data and allows the storage section 8 to register a schedule based on the keyword.
