HEAT DISSIPATION UNIT OF MPU FOR PERSONAL COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance heat dissipation performance by disposing a heat sink having a plurality of fins formed integrally on one side of a heat dissipating plate by cutting and raising it in the housing of a personal computer. SOLUTION: A case 2 for MPU(microprocessor unit) is arranged in the housing of a personal computer and a duct type heat dissipation unit 4 is fixed to the outer surface of an aluminum conductive metal plate 3 constituting one side wall part of the case 2. The heat dissipation unit 4 is constructed by arranging a plurality of concave fins 6 on the upper surface of an aluminum extrusion molded heat dissipating plate 5 by cutting and raising it, combining the heat dissipating plate 5 with a duct forming fin cover 7 to surround the fins 6 and then stopping them from the outside by means of a substantially U-shaped spring steel clip 8 having a fixing hook 9.
