PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the failure or disengagement of the edges of the lenses mounted at a frame against the swing or deflection of this frame. SOLUTION: The rear surface of the frame 2 of the mounting structure of the spectacle lens for mounting the lens via a filamentary member to the frame opened on the lower side is provided with a fitting groove 7 for fitting a holding member 6 for holding the lenses 3 over the entire part. The holding member 6 to be fitted into the fitting groove is formed to be narrower in width from near the center toward both ends. In addition, the rear surface thereof is provided with a projecting line 8 over the entire length. On the other hand, a recessed groove 12 to be fitted with the filamentary member 10 spanned between the projecting line 8 and the aperture 5 of the frame 3 is formed on the peripheral surface of the lens 3 to be held at the holding member 6.
