METHOD OF IGNITING GAS BOILER IN HOT-WATER MODE TO BOIL WATER RAPIDLY

PURPOSE: A method of igniting a gas boiler in a hot-water mode is provided to feed hot water rapidly by shortening the ignition time of a boiler. CONSTITUTION: A boiler is started in a hot-water mode. A pre-purge process that an exhaust fan starts to rotate and the residual gas in a burner is exhausted is performed. Gas is fed to the boiler by turning on a gas valve, and an ignition plug is turned on for 12 seconds. Then, water is boiled by igniting the gas through the continuous detection of ignition. If a flame has not been ignited to the gas for 12 seconds, the post-purge process is performed for 3 seconds. The gas is supplied again and the ignition plug is turned on to ignite the gas. The entire ignition time is reduced if the post-purge process is shortened so that hot water is supplied rapidly.
