PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the finishing agent capable of exhibiting excellent drying and finishing effects for the surfaces of plastic table wares by using both a specific polyglycerol fatty acid ester and a specified sorbitan fatty acid ester. SOLUTION: This drying/finishing agent ensuring constant flowability and having improved composition stability comprises (A) a polyglycerol fatty acid ester prepared by esterifying (i) a polyglycerol containing >=50 wt.% of a single polygycerol having a specific polymerization degree n [(n) is 3-5] with (ii) a (2n) to (2n+4)C fatty acid, and (B) (iii) a sorbitan fatty acid ester prepared by esterifying at least one sorbitan compound selected from the group consisting of sorbitan, sorbitol and sorbite with (iv) a 8-12C fatty acid. The drying and finishing agent preferably comprises 10-20 wt.% of the component A, 10-20 wt.% of the component B, (C) 10-20 wt.% of propylene glycol, (D) 10-35 wt.% of ethanol and (E) water.
