PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terrarium capable of readily and inexpensively creating a feeling of high class without causing shrink and swelling of coating film by forming a specific coating film layer on the wall surface of a saucer. SOLUTION: This terrarium has a decorative plant in a container 1 composed of a cover 2 having a wall surface which is at least partially transparent and a saucer 4. The wall surface of the saucer 4 can be provided with a coating film layer containing at least a resin, a tacky agent and a colorant. This terrarium arranges the decorative plant in the container 1 composed of the cover 2 having the wall surface which is at least partially transparent and the saucer 4. The wall surface of the saucer 4 can be provided with a coating film layer containing at least the tacky agent, resin powder and the colorant.
