PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording paper of superior glossiness, improved cracking resistance and superior water resistance. SOLUTION: A cationic polymer containing solution, a fine particle dispersion and a rigid film agent solution are mixed, and dispersed to prepare a dispersion, and a low polymerization degree polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution and a high polymerization polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution are added in the above order in the dispersion to form a coating fluid, and the coating fluid thus prepared is applied on a substrate to manufacture an ink-jet recording paper. |
