PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod body stopper capable of facilitating the fishing line-inserting operation of an internally threaded rod. SOLUTION: This fishing rod stopper 10 has a pipe-like main body portion 11 having a penetrated hole 12 formed in the axial direction. The main body portion 11 is formed from a synthetic resin such as a polycarbonate, and a split 11a reaching to the penetrated hole 12 is formed in the axial direction. The outer diameter of the main body portion 11 is set so as to approximately coincide with the inner diameter of the tip side inner circumferential surface of the upper rod 2, and the main body portion 11 is used as a fitting member capable of being inserted and fit into the tip side end of the upper rod 2. The penetrated hole 12 is formed so as to coincide with the outer diameter of the tip rod 5. The tip rod 5 can be fit from the split 11a of the main body portion 11 to fix to the rod body stopper. 10.
