PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a height of each shelf plate freely to some extent by matching it with a dimension of a book to be displayed without producing a waste space in a display shelf for book. SOLUTION: A flat base 3 for piling up books B flatly is provided in a front lower part of a shelf body 2 in which arbitrary number of shelf plates 7 are provided so as to adjust their heights between right and left side plates 4. A bottom raising member 8 in which a front plate part 8b facing downward is continuously provided at a front end of a shelf plate part 8a is provided between a rear end 12a of a top plate 12 of this flat base 3 and a back plate 5 covering a rear surface of the shelf body 2 so as to adjust its height.
