PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fabric rich in lightweightness, excellent in soft touch, dry touch and firm texture, and having favorable crapes. SOLUTION: This high-twist woven fabric is obtained by subjecting combined and interlaced filament yarns composed of multifilament yarns A and one or more kinds of multifilament yarns B to high twisting followed by conducting a twist-setting heat treatment and then weaving the resultant combined multifilament yarns as warps and/or wefts into a fabric which, in turn, is craped; wherein the multifilament yarns A each with a Young's modulus of <=50 and boiling water shrinkage of <=30% are produced by heat treatment of highly oriented undrawn multifilament yarns comprising modified cross-section multifilament yarns each with a percentage of hollowness of 5-30% and modification degree of 1.3-3.5 consisting mainly of ethylene terephthalate repeating unit, and the multifilament yarns B is a kind of synthetic fibers each with a single fiber fineness of >=1.0 denier.
