PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a roller to a marking position really and improve the workability by only positioning a marker ray projection device to a certain extent and change the marking position by the roller without changing the position of the marker ray projection device, in a marker ray reading and marking device. SOLUTION: In this marker ray reading and marking device, provided with a light detector 15 for receiving the marker ray L0 irradiated to the marking surface, a rotary scriber for drawing marking lines L1, L2, L3 by rolling the roller 41 adhered an ink on the scribing surface on a main body (frame 2), for moving and controlling the rotary scriber in the orthogonally crossing direction with the rolling direction of the roller 41 by the position detection signal of the marker ray L0 by a light detector 15, the light detector 15 is assembled for the main body (frame 2) along the moving direction of the rotary marker in a positionally adjustable state.
