DATA TRANSMITTING DEVICE AND METHOD IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A data transmitting method and device in a mobile communication system to transmit frame data at a transmission rate decreased from a predetermined transmission rate on a channel supporting a discontinuous transmission mode in a data transmitting method for a base station. The base station determines a plural number N of frame periods at the predetermined transmission rate and a number L of frames transmitted at the predetermined N frame periods. Here, L is smaller than N. Then, the base station transmits L frames for N frame periods for the decreased transmission rate.
