AGGLOMERATION METHOD OF PULVERIZED COAL USING UREA AS BINDER

PURPOSE: An agglomeration method of pulverized coal having a particle size of less than 8mm using urea as a binder is provided. The agglomerated coal has superior stability over low temperature about 100deg.C and is suitable for COREX process as fuel. CONSTITUTION: In the agglomeration method of fine coal, the method is characterized in that after homogeneously mixing 15-20wt.% of urea with 80-85wt.% of fine coal, the mixture is heat-treated in the temperature range of 400 to 500deg.C for 2-10 minutes.
