摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a doctor to easily control ablation of the cornea with precision by controlling a laser beam source and a scanning optical system using an irradiating means based on the ablation condition inputted by an inputting means. SOLUTION: A control part 50 changes the opening diameter of an aperture 25 via a drive circuit 54 based on the ablation condition inputted by an inputting part 60 to determine the range of ablation by laser beam. Thereafter, the laser beam is deviated downward in 90 deg. by a dichroic mirror 26 to go toward the cornea C. Since the laser beam is scanned two dimensionally parallel with the main optical axis L1 of the irradiating optical system like this, the laser irradiating position on the cornea is not affected by the cornea curvature. Accordingly the relation between the laser irradiating position and moving positions of moving mirrors 23, 24 can be simply determined. Since a small spot beam shaped by a collimator lens 27 is irradiated. the ablation can be carried out with precision without being affected by the alignment precision in Z-direction.
