METHOD FOR SETTING GEMSTONE WITH INCLINATION AND SHRINKING OF BEZEL AND RELATED ACCESSORIES

PURPOSE: A method for setting gemstone is to machine a metal bezel to firmly set a gemstone in it. CONSTITUTION: A main body(1) of accessory is drilled to have one or more tapered holes to tightly set gemstones in them. The holes are drilled by drill bit with 0.1mm smaller diameter than that of the gemstone girdle into the 0.3mm larger depth than the height of the gemstone to set. Next the holes are finished by drill bit of a tapered shape having 0.05-0.1mm larger maximum diameter than that of the gemstone girdle and having the taper inclination of 2-5 degree angle to receive the stone in tight setting.
