OPTICAL FERRULE CONTAINING ZIRCONIA AND ALUMINA AS EFFECTIVE COMPONENTS AND PREPARATION METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: An optical ferrule containing zirconia and aluminum as effective components and a preparation method of the same are provided to mix zirconia and alumina in order to remove the defects of them and prepare chief optical ferrule ingot. CONSTITUTION: A preparation method of optical ferrule containing zirconia and aluminum as effective components comprises steps of: mixing zirconia powder and aluminum powder with a predetermined mixing ratio; agitating the mixed powder to acquire ZTA(zirconia toughened alumina) powder; injecting the ZTA powder into an optical ferrule ingot shape; and removing the moisture contained in the injected mold and sintering it.
