PURPOSE: A digital stereophonic sound audio apparatus for personal computer is provided to have a considerable compatibility between products by supporting a plurality of speakers and using a plurality of speakers regardless of a kind of computer. CONSTITUTION: An analog switch circuit(102) inputs and outputs an analog signal from various analog peripheral devices or a tuner(101) through an analog output terminal(2140). A digital switch circuit(104) inputs and outputs a digital signal from various digital peripheral devices through a digital input terminal(2180). A USB interface(106) receives a USB signal of a computer body(10) from a USB input terminal(2170) to match the received USB signal. A DSP unit(107) processes a digital signal inputted through an A/D converter(103), a digital interface(105) and the USB interface(106). A control unit(200) controls an operation state of the DSP unit(107).
