PURPOSE: An automatic control device of the flux of coolant for an air conditioner is provided to obtain an optimum heat exchange cycle by automatically controlling the flux of the coolant flowed into indoor and outdoor heat exchangers when switching to heating or cooling. CONSTITUTION: A coolant flowed into a valve case(111) via a path(113) of an outdoor heat exchanger pushes a slider(121) by pressure, and the slider is closely contact to a path(112) of an indoor heat exchanger when an air conditioner(101) drives for cooling. A first valve body(124) formed on the slider is closely contacted to a first slope face(114) formed on the valve case while keeping a little gap. Accordingly, the coolant flowed into the valve case passes a path by the inner face of the valve case and a plane face part(123) of the slider and also the small gap(t1) formed by the first slope face and the first valve body and is supplied to an indoor heat exchanger(104) along the path of the indoor heat exchanger by being decompressed. Accordingly, the indoor space is cooled by the evaporation of the indoor heat exchanger. And the indoor space is heated by switching a cooling cycle by using a four-way valve.
