The bottom surface of a linear guide rail 5 for guiding a moving body in a linear manner is pressed against a curved rail mounting surface 20 formed with a given radius of curvature to thereby elastically deform the linear guide rail 5 in a curvilinear manner, and the linear guide rail 5 is then fixed to the rail mounting surface 20 while the linear guide rail 5 remains deformed elastically, thereby producing a curvilinear guide rail. The rail is used in vibration isolating apparatus.
