PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load applied on a core wire of a coaxial cable, simplify the manufacturing process, and prevent drop of the reliability. SOLUTION: This connector 1 is composed of a coaxial cable 2, a terminal 3 whereto the core wire 2a of the cable 2 is inserted to generate connection, a terminal holder 4 of insulating material to accommodate the terminal 3, a conductive shield cover 5 mounted on the terminal holder 4, and a sleeve 6 accommodating the holder 4 and shield cover 5 and to connect the winding 2c of the cable 2. The terminal 3 is provided with a connection hole 16 for the core wire 2a, and the holder 4 is composed of a holder body 20 and a pair of lids 21 and 22 installed on the terminal inserting side of the body 20, while the shield cover 5 is composed of a cover body 40 to cover one lid 21 in shut condition and a presser part 41 provided on the inner surface of the cover body 40 for fixing insulator 2b, and the core wire 2a is inserted through the hole 16, and the insulator 2b is fixed to the presser part 41, and thereby the core wire 2a and winding 2c are located simultaneously.
