PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized speaker whose electroacoustic transduction efficiency is improved more than that of a dynamic speaker or the like. SOLUTION: Pulleys 4U, 4D are fitted to rotary drive members 3U, 3V placed to upper and lower parts of a diaphragm 2, a transmission member 5 is stretched between both the pulleys 4U, 4D connect the transmission member 5 to the diaphragm 2 for vertically vibrating the diaphragm 2, in response to an acoustic signal fed to the rotary drive members 3U, 3V so as to cause the low-frequency acoustic signal to sound from the small-sized speaker.
