PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submergence confirming device capable of discriminating whether a portable terminal or the like is submerged or not only by observing a lower case. SOLUTION: This submergence confirming device is constituted of the lower case 2 provided with a hole 3, a double coated adhesive member 4 to stick both sides so as to surround the hole 3, a transparent sheet 5 to block water infiltrating from the hole 3 and to view the state change of a submergence confirmation seal from the surface, a double coated adhesive member 6 to be arranged at both ends of the transparent sheet 5 and a white wood-free paper 7 and the submergence confirmation seal consisting of the white wood-free paper 7 subjected to red color printing 8 at the center with water ink. The hole 3 is provided at the position being not invisible by other components to be mounted on the lower case 2, and is placed, for example, on a holding member 1.
