摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an excellent light resistance preservable property and high reflectivity with recording and reproducing light by absorbing the light existing in an absorption band of organic dyestuffs contained in a dyestuff recording layer existing on the short wavelength side by the recording light and the reproducing light and regulating the light existing in a visible region and existing nearer the long wavelength side than the absorption band of the organic dyestuffs so as to be transmitted at a specific value or above of the average transmittance thereof. SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium regulates the light transmittance in such a manner as to satisfy the three conditions; its substrate allows the transmittance of the recording light and the reproducing light, absorbs the light existing in the absorption band of the organic dyestuffs contained in the dyestuff recording layer and allows the transmittance of the light existing nearer the long wavelength side than the absorption band of the organic dyestuffs in the visible region at >=50% average transmittance. This substrate is capable of preventing the decomposition of the recording layer dyestuffs and improves the light resistant preservable property of the recording medium by hindering the transmittance of the light near the absorption band of the recording layer dyestuffs. In addition, the high reflectivity may be assured and the good recording and reproducing characteristics may be maintained by allowing the transmission of the prescribed light.
