PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To modify a reading means only through simple mechanical modification by defining seal size as one capable of passing a coin-inserting port of a machine by which merchandise or service is sold by inserting a coin. SOLUTION: A transmission signal is originated by a transmitter via a demodulator and is transmitted by a coil. The transmission signal is converted into a receiving signal via the coil via the demodulator on a receiving side. Power is supplied simultaneously by the coil as well. In this case, this device is constituted by adapting a single kind of size of coins of a country, merchandise and the service are provided by inputting this coin semiconductor device 52 into the coin-inserting port 51 of an automatic vending machine 50, a telephone set, etc. Namely, the device is provided with an equivalent function as an original noncontacting type or contacting type IC card and its size is defined as one capable of passing the coin inserting part 51 of the automatic vending machine 50. This piece of discriminating information is recognized by the automatic vending machine 50 by the size. |
